BMD Tables Help


After completing your search, and clicking on one of the available links, you will be taken to the main page for that area, and the county the name was found in. In addition, the church you selected by clicking the link will also be automatically be selected. You will be presented with all the BMD data in the form of a table. See images below.

To further narrow down your search, type the name or a few letters of the name you are looking for in the red box above the last name box.

The table will then automatically resize, with the letters you typed shown highlighted in yellow.

To clear the search box, use the backspace key, or select all the text, and click delete, or click the clear filters button to the right of the help link at the top of the table.

You can also print the BMD trancription by clicking the link "Click Here To Print This Transcription" near the bottom of the page. When you click this link, a new window will open, which contains the BMD data only. If you want to print the whole page, press CTRL & P on your windows PC, or CMD & P on your Mac to open the print dialog box. Then click print. If you want to print only the names you are interested in, use the search filter box as you did before to narrow down your search. When you are ready to print, press CTRL & P on your windows PC, or CMD & P on your Mac to open the print dialog box. Then click print.
