Ron Zinck's Newspaper Collection - In Memoriam - 1942

SARSON – In loving memory of our dear son Donald Alexander who passed away October 24, 1941. “No one heard the footsteps of the angels drawing near, Who took from earth to heaven a child we loved so dear, Alex, dear, how we miss you, we think of you today, Your presence will always be with us wherever we may stray. ‘Tis hard to break the tender cord when love has bound the heart, ‘Tis hard, so hard, to speak these words ‘We must forever part.’ This day brings sad memories of our loved one gone to rest, You will always be remembered by the ones who loved you best, The days are sad without you, and nothing seems just right. A face we dearly loved has gone, a heart so kind and bright. But God alone knew what was best, And took him home with him to rest, The memory of his dear wee ways Will linger with us through all days, For he was ours and we remember Though all the world forget.” – Sadly missed by his Daddy and Mummie.
